Based on a game KEY. Kunisaki Yukito a wandering performer who survives with only the clothes on his back, a puppet and the story of The Girl in the Sky that his mother told him, a legend passed down in his family. He doesn't know whom or where The Girl In The Sky is but he must find her. On the verge of starvation from seeking the girl in the sky his journey takes him to a small seaside town where a young girl named Misuzu, whose eccentricities serve to hide a troubled home life, befriends him. Misuzu offers Yukito a place to stay, and in return he listens to her dreams in which she lives in the sky. A story spanning a thousand years begins to unfold against the background of their peculiar relationship. Yukito continues to search for the girl in the sky he finds that the possibilities are as numerous as the pitfalls. Will he find the girl in the sky?
